DDP HOW TO

The album audio and all metadata are packaged into a file type called DDP (Disc Description Protocol). This ensures that track titles, song order, and spacing remain unchanged.

Follow these steps to view and listen to the album exactly as it will appear on CD -

  1. Copy the DDP.zip file to your desktop

  2. Unzip the DDP.zip file

  3. Look for the folder called “Player”

  4. Open the correct player for your system (Mac or PC)

  5. Rock out

You can also burn CDs or export digital files from the DDP Player. To export the entire album to digital files, look for the floppy disk looking icon at the bottom left next to the album name.

Once you have double (and triple) checked spelling, song names, fades, spacing between songs, etc., simply send the entire DDP folder to the CD duplication plant. DDP is the format used by the disc duplication machine.

Let me know if you have any questions.
